My Hot Wheels were my favorite childhood toys. I kept them all these years. I’m 66 and am glad that they’re going to someone who will truly appreciate them. The only way this could have happened was through the trust I developed in Bob through our phones talks. The transaction was AA++.

I contacted Bob by phone and we had a great conversation. He explained the process in detail, after which I sent him pictures of my collection. Upon review, he asked for additional pictures of 3 of the cars. He called me with his offer and explained everything about the collection. He made the transfer collection and payment seamless. In January of 2026 I did an online search for buyers/collectors of Hot Wheels cars. My search gave me Bob Young as a buyer/collector of redline Hot Wheels cars. I contacted him via email and received an email back expressing his interest in what I had. I sent pictures of my collection, a day or so later he contacted me with a price on my collection after a careful review of my collection. We agreed on a price and I boxed everything up and sent it his way, and he sent a check to me at the same time.

Good experience selling my 1968-1971 Redline collection. Bob appraised the lot and told me what I could resonably expect if I auctioned them off myself, and then he gave me a price for what he would pay on the spot for them. For me it was a no-brainer. I took his offer which seemed very fair. He even called a collector colleague of his to see if there was any interest for a Matchbox car collection I also had. I made a few dollars off of that as well. Highly recommend dealing with Bob Young if you don’t want to deal with the time and effort of preparing and selling your cars individually on your own.
